8/3/25 - Whitney Day 2025

Congratulations to Slew and his progeny! Saturday was a good day to be a Slew at Saratoga.

Sierra Leone, who is out of a Malibu Moon mare, won the $1 million Whitney Stakes (G1), and Deterministic, whose second dam is by Tiznow, took the $750,000 Fourstardave Stakes (G1). Earlier on the card, Ewing, who is by Knicks Go (Paynter), was best in the Saratoga Special Stakes (G2).
